One of our clients had been running very successful pay-per-click advertising for years. However they had been using the same landing page for some time, so after running some benchmarks to determine the current landign pages conversion rate, we made some changes to the original page, and also made three new variations of that landing page. We ran a test to see which of the four pages would perform the best. The result was doubling the landing page's effectiveness by lifting its conversion rate from 2.16% to 4.38%, that means for every 1,000 visitors the page had it would produce 44 sales instead of only 22!
